About the SOCAL Spring League
The SOCAL Spring League is a SOCAL-operated spring competition designed for boys’ and girls’ teams from U5 through U14.

The league provides a structured, development-focused environment that allows players to continue competing in the spring while teams prepare for the upcoming season. All Spring League competition aligns with the August 1 – July 31 seasonal age cycle, helping support smooth roster transitions.
How the Spring League Works
The Spring League is designed to be simple, balanced, and regionally based.

Teams compete in an 8-game spring season against appropriately matched opponents, with schedules built to reduce travel while maintaining competitive play. Competition begins following the conclusion of State Cup, allowing teams to transition naturally into spring soccer.

The Spring League is offered across multiple levels of play to ensure teams are placed in environments that fit their stage of development.
